Berry has primarily kept both of her children out of the spotlight. However, now that Berry has been accused of abuse, 18-year-old Nahla has publicly defended her mother. Berry’s daughter also shared, “I was shocked, very sad, and very upset when I learned about Olivier’s allegations against my mom.”

She added, “I never doubted my mom’s love for me. She consistently provided me with stability, support, guidance, and unconditional love.”

Who is Halle Berry’s daughter’s father?

Nahla Ariela Aubry’s father is model Gabriel Aubry. Berry and Aubry first met in February 2006, before welcoming Nahla in 2008. After four years together, the couple ended their relationship in 2010. At the time, the couple told People that they were putting Nahla first in their split, sharing, “Her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us.”

In 2012, Berry and Aubry got into a custody dispute over their daughter when Berry asked to move to France with Nahla and her then-husband, Martinez. Per TIME, “The fight culminated in a physical altercation between Aubry and Martinez in November of 2012.”

The exes reached a 50/50 custody agreement in 2012, which blocked Berry from moving to France with their daughter.

Who has custody of Halle Berry’s son?

Berry and Martinez had their son Maceo in October 2013, which means that he just celebrated his thirteenth birthday. Berry’s son is currently in the full custody of her ex-husband, who was granted a temporary restraining order from Berry. Martinez requested the restraining order, alleging “emotional and mental distress due to physical abuse of our minor child, Maceo.”

According to Martinez, Maceo called him on September 26, alleging that Berry had “physically attacked him.” Martinez claimed that Berry “physically abused our son, Maceo, by jumping on him, putting her hands around his neck, and choking him.” He continued, “I contend that there have been other instances of abuse over the course of the last few years.”

Per People, Berry has denied all claims and “is asking to restore her former custody agreement from August 2023, in which Berry and Martinez shared 50/50 custody. She has also asked to be reinstated as the tie-breaking authority, which she had under their previous custodial agreement, and asked the court to force Martinez to attend their court-ordered therapy sessions.” Their court hearing is set for October 16.
