’90 Day: Hunt for Love’ Season 2 Preview: Michael Reveals Why He Left Angela
Viewers got to know Michael Ilesanmi during Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, when his then-girlfriend Angela Deem traveled to Nigeria to meet him for the first time in person. Including their franchise debut, the couple appeared on five seasons together across the franchise, including Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé and Season 1 of 90 Day: The Last Resort.
In Swooon‘s exclusive preview of the 90 Day: Hunt for Love Season 2 premiere, Michael makes his first franchise appearance as a single man, revealing why he and Angela got a divorce — and who he’s already crushing on.
“It [was] just like a movie,” he recalls of their February 2024 separation. “I woke up in the morning, [and] I realized, like, you know what? I can’t take it anymore.”
Leaving everything behind, Michael then moved to Texas. Heading into Hunt for Love, he reveals, “I’ve been living in Houston for two years now.” However, he confesses, “Being in a new foreign land, life is hard.”

According to Michael, a few weeks before he flew to Puerto Rico to film Hunt for Love Season 2, his divorce from Angela was finally finalized. He explains, “[As of] a couple of weeks ago I’m officially divorced, and I think I’m ready to mingle now.” On his wish list for the Hunt for Love cast: A woman “that has a big butt and big boobs.”
Upon entering Hunt for Love, Michael immediately runs into Brittany Banks, who reveals, “I’m so excited that Michael is here because Michael is my dog. That’s my friend. We hang out in Houston.” As he puts it, “Brittany and I, we are friends already, but I don’t think she knows I have a crush on her.”
Luckily for Michael, Brittany is feeling the vibe too. She explains, “The messy part of me is like, ‘He’s looking good,’ but that’s the messy part of me.”
