‘Dancing With the Stars’: Get to Know Brandon Armstrong’s Wife Brylee
Brandon Armstrong is in his ninth season as a pro on Dancing With the Stars, but he has yet to win the Mirrorball trophy. This year, he’s hoping to take it home with partner Ciara Miller, and his wife, Brylee Armstrong, is their number one supporter.
Brylee is constantly posting about her husband’s DWTS journey on social media and cheering him on. Her Instagram bio even says, “Usually making my husband teach me how to dance.”
Below, we rounded up everything to know about Brylee and her relationship with the Dancing With the Stars pro.
How did Brandon Armstrong meet his wife?
Brandon and Brylee met in 2021 after he slid into her DMs. He came across her profile after finding her on a dating app called Mutual, which was built specifically for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS).
“It was cool to be on it and then put your Instagram and then you would, like, message on your Instagram because you wouldn’t really want to be seen on this app,” Brylee explained on The Squeeze podcast. “I don’t know, it’s kind of cringe.”
While in a DWTS offseason, Brandon was spending time in Utah, where Brylee was living. “He said, ‘Hey, how are you?’ I never met him in my life,” she dished, adding that she had no idea who Brandon was, either.

“In his bio it said Dancing With the Stars pro. I remember looking at this being like, ‘Who?'” she continued. “I had grown up being around the show. My mom was a huge fan. I screenshotted his profile, sent it to my mom, ‘Do you know who this is?’, and she’s like, ‘He’s so cute, you should go out with him.’ And we just started hanging out a little bit and I guess the rest is history.”
Brandon told People his side of the story after proposing to Brylee in March 2022. “I downloaded an app that’s similar to Tinder but for our Church to be funny,” he said. “I was scrolling through and saw her but I was too embarrassed to message her. So, I DM’ed her on Instagram instead and she ghosted me.”
It took a month or two of sending messages before they finally met for their first date. They tied the knot in July 2022.
What does Brandon Armstrong’s wife do for a living?
Per her LinkedIn, Brylee does social media, marketing, and admin for Alta Moda Bridal, and is also the sales manager for Ypsilon Dresses. She graduated from Utah Valley University in 2020 with a degree in communications and public relations.
While Brylee is not a professional dancer like her husband, she did dance competitively growing up, and was on the dance and cheerleading teams in high school. She also danced for one year at a local college, but then realized she “didn’t love it enough” to continue, which is why she transferred.
Brylee has also become an avid content creator, especially when Brandon is in-season on DWTS. She often posts videos of Brandon teaching her how to dance or of them attempting to do other contestants’ moves from the show.
Does Brandon Armstrong have kids?
No, Brandon and Brylee do not have children, but she recently posted a video hinting that kids are in their future.
“Brandon Armstrong can we have one of our own yet???” Brylee captioned a video of Brandon dancing with a young girl at a DWTS event in August. “I’m homesick for my future baby.”
