’90 Day: The Last Resort’ Tell All Part 2 Recap: Sumit & Jenny’s ALS Update and More

With September 28’s 90 Day: The Last Resort Tell All Part 2, Season 3 of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff has officially come to an end, with only one couple not talking about divorce.

To commemorate the end of Season 3 (and most of their relationships), the cast of 90 Day: The Last Resort got together to rehash the drama from the season and bring new issues to light with host Ross Mathews. During Part 1, Thaís and Patrick revealed that their relationship had come to an end. Sarper, who attended without Shekinah, gave a similar update.

During Part 2, Russ and Paola continued to explain why one of them wants to split, and the other wants to hold on, while Sumit and Jenny revealed whether his parents had finally moved out of their shared apartment. In the end, Rebecca and Zied‘s relationship was left on a major cliffhanger after Zied found out that members of the cast had seen Rebecca’s adult content online. Paola wants a divorce

After Russ revealed during Part 1 that he does not believe in divorce, Paola confirmed she is done with their relationship. While Paola told Russ, “We don’t have to hate each other for this,” Russ told her that he would never talk to her again if she pulled the plug on their relationship, even though they have a seven-year-old son.

Later, Russ reflected on the conversation, sharing, “Of course I’ve heard this before, but I feel way more sincerity from her voice, so I’m very shaken from it.” As Paola put it, “He cannot force me to be with him if I don’t love him.”

Sarper explained why Shekinah was absent

In a recent social media post, Shekinah explained that she did not attend the Tell All to safeguard her mental health. Sarper put it differently. He explained, “She doesn’t want to take accountability because normally I’m the one [who] protects her. But right now, I decide not to protect her, you know, because she talked about me.”

Sarper kicked Shekinah off his comedy tour

Another moment Shekinah discussed in her post was getting kicked off of Sarper’s tour after being in the audience for every show. Looking at that separation, Sarper explained, “I’m fighting with her in [the] green room, then I’m going to stage to make people laugh for 90 minutes. That doesn’t make sense. So I said, you better stay in LA. You’re an esthetician. You’re successful. Do your job, and I will come, and we will miss each other.” He confessed, “It didn’t work out as I hoped.”

Later, she decided to move to Miami without him. “By the way, when she moved, I gave $15,000,” Sarper confessed. When she asked him for $50,000 more for “emotional damages,” he knew it was over.

Darcey defended Shekinah

While the entire cast made it clear that they were not Team Shekinah, 90 Day alum Darcey took the stage via video call to defend her friend. Commenting on Sarper’s comedy routine, which is primarily about his marriage with Shekinah, Darcey told him, “Make up some new jokes, Sarper. Make them about yourself, maybe, and show her the love that she really deserves, Sarper. Stop making her the butt of your jokes all the time.”

Later, Darcey claimed Sarper wasn’t innocent in their split. Looking back at their recommitment ceremony vow renewal, Darcey explained, “The word b***h should never be used in any sort of way to make somebody feel loved.” That said, neither Darcey nor Sarper defended Shekinah’s “go back to your country” statement from earlier in the season.

Sumit explained his new role in Jenny’s life

During Part 1, Jenny and Sumit revealed that Jenny had been diagnosed with ALS since their time in the castle. Now, Sumit has transitioned into her husband and caregiver. “I think it happened very naturally,” Sumit explained. “Now, as a caregiver, I feel like it’s my duty. I love her so much, and I am ready to do anything, like whatever that’s required to make her feel better or whatever I can do for her.”

Jenny’s in-laws have finally moved out

After 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 7, everyone knows that Jenny’s number one priority heading into 90 Day: The Last Resort was getting Sumit to ask his parents, Sadhna and Anil, to move. At the recommitment ceremony, Jenny gave him one more month, and at the Tell All, he revealed that he finally did it.

When Sadhna and Anil joined via video call, Anil admitted, “We understand the problem of Sumit and Jenny. We realized she cannot live with us. She is not free with us. Then we thought we should have [a] shift from there.” With Jenny’s diagnosis, Sumit’s parents are still involved in their life and living nearby. “I feel more free and happy, and it’s our house,” Jenny confirmed.

Jenny gave an update on her ALS and Sumit’s U.S. visa

According to Jenny, the couple is seeking treatment in the U.S., but needs a visa for Sumit to travel with Jenny. She explained, “Right now, we’re trying to get an emergency visa for Sumit so we can go to the U.S.”Jenny later shared her current outlook on her diagnosis. She told Ross, “I don’t want to be treated any differently. Let’s just continue on the way we have been. And — and nobody cry for me.”

Rebecca’s daughter-in-law slammed Zied

The final couple to take the hot seat was Rebecca and Zied, who welcomed Rebecca’s daughter-in-law Laura on-stage to give insight into their dynamic back home. Laura explained, “I feel that Zied thinks that he is the prize, and he needs to be taken care of because he left his family and friends back home to come here, and he just expects everything handed to him. And I just feel like her light gets dimmed.”

While they recommitted on the show, Rebecca and Zied revealed that watching a segment of the aftershow, Between the Sheets, back home has caused their greatest rift yet. According to Sarper, he’s seen Rebecca’s adult content photos online, an announcement that caused Rebecca to storm off the stage. Immediately after, Zied told Rebecca, “I can divorce right now,” before disappearing. While Rebecca returned to the stage, Zied had left entirely.

Rebecca told Sarper, “For the record, he didn’t know that anybody else had seen them.” While she was going to bring up her spicy photos, she explained, “I was going to try and mitigate the damage a little bit. The truth is, when I put those pictures up years and years ago, I was doing it to keep the roof over my head.”

Guillermo and Patrick exposed Rebecca

While Zied knew she had some spicy photos, he didn’t know just how spicy they were until he saw Guillermo and Patrick talk about it on Between the Sheets, even though she told Guillermo, “If he finds out, he will leave me.” While Patrick didn’t know it was a secret, Guillermo said that he made a “huge mistake.”

Kara, another spicy content creator, told Rebecca, “I just don’t understand why you didn’t get ahead of it a little bit… I love y’all, but you can’t trust nobody.”

The therapists gave their parting words

All three therapists, Dr. Tyrone, Dr. Tara, and Persia, appeared in the final minutes of the Tell All to give the cast some last advice. Their biggest suggestion was for Russ, who Persia told, “I’m going to be really direct here. I’m saying this to you, Russ: let go or be dragged. The only hope I can see for where you two are, you need to separate for a period of time. And Russ, you need to go and focus on you and becoming that version of yourself that she knows you can be, and you know you can be.” Ultimately, Russ explained that he is not giving up on their relationship, but he is willing to temporarily separate.
