During Season 28 of Big Brother, fans (and the rest of the houseguests) quickly latched onto the flirty relationship between Melody Morris and Drew Campbell. From lots of cuddling to a particularly cozy moment in the hot tub, sparks have definitely been flying between them, even though they never crossed the line from friendship to romance since Melody has a situationship back home. (Big Brother live feed spoilers ahead!)
For anyone who’s been watching the live feeds ahead of the September 23 episode, it’s clear Melody has been evicted from the house as part of the Pharaoh’s Curse twist. Now that Taylor Brown is the new Head of Household, Drew has made the final three by winning the Golden Power of Veto. As he decides which of the two icons, Dee Valladares or Rick Devens, he wants to fill the last finale night spot, it’s clear that there’s only one person he wants to talk to.
As viewers know, Melody spent the season using a detached landline to “call” her mom throughout her time in the Big Brother house, “introducing” her to Drew along the way.

In a recent video that a fan recorded from the live stream, Drew picks up the landline to “call” Melody and updates her on his game, while giving her a teary apology for not being able to save her from eviction. BB fans, this might be a more emotional scene than the end of The Notebook.
In the video, which you can watch below, Drew tells his flirtmance, “I just won the Veto… just made it to final three. I’m sorry I couldn’t do it a week earlier.” With tears in his eyes, he confesses, “I wish you were still here.”
Talking game, he confesses, “And now I’m sitting with the decision that I have to pick between Devens and Dee.” He laughs. “Two of your favorite people. I know what you want me to do. I just don’t know if I can do it.”
