’90 Day’s Jenny Slatten Addresses Her Health on the Show for the First Time

In December 2025, beloved 90 Day Fiancé star Jenny Slatten received a heartbreaking diagnosis. She found out with her husband, Sumit Singh, that she has ALS. Having filmed their most recent season of 90 Day Fiancé, 90 Day: The Last Resort, ahead of the diagnosis, the couple has not spoken about her ongoing ALS journey on the show until now.
At the 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3 Tell All, Jenny and Sumit appeared via video call from India, where they live with Sumit’s family. During the first few minutes of the Tell All, host Ross Mathews got a quick update from all of the cast members, many of whom had made headlines since the regular season wrapped. At that time, Ross asked Jenny, “I know that you’ve had some really terrible health news. Can you and Sumit talk to us about what’s going on with your health?”
In response, Jenny candidly shared, “I don’t like to talk. So [Sumit] can.” At his wife’s request, Sumit told the viewers, “When we come back to India after The Last Resort, we noticed some kind of changes, like, which she was struggling from in her voice and her balance, and even choking on water and small things”

After getting Jenny tested, Sumit revealed, “We’ve come to know that Jenny is suffering from ALS.” Ross responded, “I think I speak for everybody: We’re sending you so much love.” Then he asked, “Very simple question though, how are you doing right now?”
Jenny explained, “I’m okay. I’m still independent and walking and doing everything, but I can’t talk.” As Sumit put it, “It’s disheartening, but she’s still showing a lot of courage. Like every day, she wakes up with a smile on her face.”
Promising to chat more during Part 2, Ross told the duo, “We’re just grateful that you’re here.”
Ahead of the Tell All, Ross sat down with Swooon to tease what was to come during the explosive reunion event. When asked about Jenny’s health update, he explained, “I love Jenny. I love Sumit. I’ve watched their whole journey, too. Her diagnosis is heartbreaking and, you know, she’s there. She shows up… Of course, I had to ask about her health, and she’s very forthcoming. Sumit is very forthcoming.”
