‘Big Brother’s Barrett Reveals Whether He Has Romantic Feelings for Mallory
What To Know
- Barrett Pfeiffer and Mallory Aurichio were close allies and best friends during Big Brother Season 28.
- Barrett revealed whether he has romantic feelings for Mallory during an exit interview with Swooon.
- He expressed that Mallory is very special to him.
After Barrett Pfeiffer called Mallory Aurichio’s BB comic “hot,” we knew that a post-show showmance could be on the horizon. Before Barrett settled into the Big Brother Season 28 jury house, we couldn’t help but ask him where he stands with Mallory today.
From the beginning of Season 28, Barrett and Mallory were close allies, forming the FAP alliance with fellow houseguests Drew Campbell and Melody Morris. While the biggest flirtmance this season has been between Drew and Melody, who still maintain they are just friends, fans started to see sparks between Barrett and Mallory as well. When Mallory was sent home during Week 7, it was clear that Barrett took her eviction the hardest out of everyone in the house.
When Barrett sat down with Swooon following his Week 10 eviction, we asked the question everyone’s been wondering: “Were there feelings there, or were you two just friends?” (Mallory, if you’re reading this, it sounds like you two have a lot to sort out come October 1.)
Before answering our question, let it be known that Barrett let out a full snort-laugh. He told Swooon, “Mallory was definitely my best friend in the Big Brother house, so I don’t think anybody would question that.” Getting down to it, he confessed, “The Big Brother house is also crazy. When you’re around somebody that long, you do tend to develop feelings.”

Looking towards his time outside of the house, Barrett explained, “Now, I can’t speak for Mallory, but she is somebody that is very special to me, and I hope [she] will be in my life for a very long time.” Laughing at keeping things vague, he confessed, “That is probably not the answer you wanted to hear.” Don’t worry, Barrett. That told us everything we need to know!
