’90 Day Fiancé’ Tell All Preview: Marissa & Edward Fight Over ‘Devastating’ Issue
Marissa Rubinetti and Edward Gomez‘s conversation about having kids is far from over.
In Swooon‘s exclusive preview of the 90 Day Fiancé Season 12 Tell All, Marissa and Edward have their heaviest conversation yet, where Edward puts his foot down on Marissa’s coparenting relationship with her ex-husband, Michael Sanders, leading to a candid conversation about his desire to have kids.
On a night out, Edward tells Marissa, “It’s Michael, or it’s me.” Clearly, this is an impossible choice for Marissa. While Edward is her husband, her ex needs to be in her children’s lives. “What does that mean?” she asks Edward. “He is the father of my children.” When Edward tells her he doesn’t care, Marissa fires back, “Then you’re an idiot.”
She tells him that she needs to “maintain contact.” He argues, “Just talk about the boys. You have something for the boys? No? Then you don’t really need to talk about it. Simple.”
Edward then asks Marissa why everything needs to be how she wants. He questions, “When I say something in my way, this is wrong? Are you kidding me?”

Marissa shares with viewers, “I’m in a position where I have to deal with Michael, whether I like it or not. He is the father of my children. And Edward’s being unfair by assuming that I could just, like, completely cut him off and never speak to him again.”
However, when Marissa insinuates that Edward doesn’t understand her predicament because he is not a parent, the conversation takes a turn. “You don’t know how incredibly difficult the situation is,” she tells him. “The only thing I wanted when you came to the United States was for you to have a good relationship with the boys and for me to not have chaos with Michael. And this whole thing with Michael is devastating.”
Asking why Marissa thinks she knows how he feels, Edward reveals, “I’m the only person in my family that I don’t have a child, and all the time they try to talk about it.” According to Edward, he is frequently asked, “Why she don’t give you a child? What happened? What happened, Edward?” He confesses to Marissa, “You don’t see it, because you don’t need to see it.” Since the beginning of the season, Edward has talked about wanting kids of his own, while Marissa has expressed that she is done having kids, since she already has two from her last marriage.
“I look at you, and I feel horrible,” Marissa admits. “I will continue to feel horrible about the baby situation.”
