A Refresher on Big Ed’s ’90 Day Fiancé’ History & What He’s Doing Now
90 Day Fiancé‘s Big Ed on Celebrity Weakest Link is “our best view.”
On September 21, fan-favorite “reality villains” are taking the Celebrity Weakest Link stage to test their knowledge and get roasted by host Jane Lynch. Among the Survivor, The Traitors, and Vanderpump Rules stars is TLC’s very own Edward “Big Ed” Brown. If you haven’t seen 90 Day Fiancé, this addition to the villainous crew may seem like a wildcard. However, viewers of the series know that this meme-worthy bachelor is going to take the competition by storm.
So, who is Big Ed, and what qualifies him as a reality villain? Whether you need a refresher or you’re just getting to know the reality star, we’re diving into Big Ed’s 90 Day Fiancé journey below.
Who is Big Ed?
Edward Allen Brown, better known as “Big Ed,” is a long-time staple of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise from San Diego. When he first joined the franchise, he was a photographer who traveled to the Philippines to meet his long-distance girlfriend and her son for the first time. Today, Big Ed is 61 years old. Being a quirky reality TV star has become his full-time job. After all, when viewers find out that someone shampoos with mayonnaise, it’s hard to look away.
Most people who have not tuned into 90 Day Fiancé would recognize Big Ed from the viral “You’re my best view” meme. In the eight-second clip, Ed’s first franchise girlfriend, Rosemarie Vega, tells him that she likes the view, and he attempts to compliment her, calling her his “best view.” Seeming mildly disgusted, Rose responds with a noise that is best described as a “neeh.” Relive the cringe below.

How tall is Big Ed?
Big Ed stands just under 5 feet tall at 4 feet 11 inches. He lives with Klippel-Feil syndrome, which he describes on his website as “a rare disorder where two or more vertebrae in the neck are fused together from birth.”
What seasons of 90 Day Fiancé has Big Ed been on?
Big Ed started his 90 Day Fiancé journey on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, a spinoff in which American citizens travel abroad to meet their long-distance love for the first time IRL. After breaking up with his B90 partner, Big Ed returned to the franchise for Seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life, which follows newly single 90 Day stars on their dating journeys. After finding love on The Single Life, Big Ed starred on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Seasons 7 and 8, as well as 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 1.

Who has Big Ed dated?
During his 90 Day Fiancé debut, Big Ed was dating Rosemarie Vega, a single mother from the Philippines. At the time, he traveled to Rose’s hometown after meeting her and falling in love on Facebook. While their time together was full of highs and lows, Rose was no longer Big Ed’s “best view” by the end of the season, and they called it quits before the Tell All.
On The Single Life, Big Ed reentered the dating scene, asking out his friend and local waitress Liz Woods. Throughout their time together, Big Ed and Liz were one of the franchise’s most on-again/off-again couples. In an interview with our sister site, TV Insider, after their final split, Big Ed revealed they had broken up 13 times. The nail in the coffin came after they had gotten engaged. The day of their split, Big Ed made “taco pasta” for Liz, her daughter Riley, and his family. When the pasta was too spicy for Riley, Liz called him out, and Big Ed called her “crazy.” Taco pasta was their last supper.
Big Ed’s final 90 Day Fiancé relationship took place on a segment of the self-shot series 90 Day Diaries. Having returned home from a trip to Florida, Big Ed recalled a whirlwind 24-hour romance with a woman named Porscha Raemond. On their first (and last) date, Big Ed proposed with a paper clip fashioned into a ring. After their proposal video went viral, Porscha broke off their one-day engagement.
When will Big Ed appear on Celebrity Weakest Link?
Big Ed is set to make his TV return on September 21, during the Season 2 premiere of Celebrity Weakest Link. He’s playing against Richard Hatch, Omarosa, Tiffany Pollard, Bob the Drag Queen, Tom Sandoval, Monica Garcia, and Christine Quinn. Can he take down the competition?
