‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ Stars Talk Season 4 Predictions & More

Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry have seen your My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 takes and Season 4 theories.

The third season of the Netflix teen drama, which came out in August, leaves its main trio in tough spots. After Cole breaks her heart, Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) kisses her childhood friend Eliot (Naveen Paddock). Meanwhile, Alex (Gentry) is rejected by the already-taken Kiley (Mya Lowe), and — most importantly — Cole (LaLonde) gets in a serious car accident en route to get Jackie back.

Regarding the most surprising fan takes he’s seen so far, Gentry told Swooon, “I mean, some of this Alex-Eliot shipping is a bit nonsensical. I don’t want anything to do with that guy, as well as some of the predictions for Season 4. Those have been interesting.”

“Does Cole lose his memory?” LaLonde chimed in, bringing up a popular fan theory about Season 4, which is currently in production. “Does Cole survive? There’s quite an open-ended question there that I’ve seen a lot of speculation about. But as far as weighing in goes, I care not to.”

LaLonde remarked that he’s enjoyed seeing fans’ concern about his character’s fate. “It makes me feel warm inside. I certainly hope I’m alive — my character,” he clarified. “I’d love to stay employed.”

There’s also the continuation of the love triangle between Kiley, Alex, and Kiley’s boyfriend, Dylan (Kolton Stewart), to look forward to. Gentry has a message for fans who are shipping Kiley and Dylan over Kiley and Alex: “I can’t afford to lose another love triangle,” he said. “So if you’re rallying behind Dylan, you’re a permanent op in my opinion. I need all the support I can get.”

The jokes continued when asked about what they hoped to tap into in Season 4. “I hope that Cole survives, swiftly gets invited to Blood and Brains, and then Alex and Cole could work everything out whilst plotting to be level 4 with the zombies,” LaLonde said, referring to the live-action video game event Alex and Kiley attend in Season 3.

Gentry quipped that he wants to see if Alex survives in Season 4. “People don’t know this, but he’s actually in the trunk of the car as Cole’s drag racing,” he said. “There’s a scene that was deleted where Cole swings by to pick Alex up from Kiley’s house after he’s rejected. Alex opts to ride in the trunk so that Cole doesn’t have to see him cry. And then, well, we all know what ensues after that.”

One thing’s for certain: Cole won’t challenge Alex at forklift pull-ups in Season 4. “Cole is wise enough to know when somebody does something as good as it can be done,” LaLonde remarked. “Don’t follow that act. Find your own lane. I’m not topping that forklift scene. I will not be getting forklift certified on this show.”

Gentry, on the other hand, thinks their characters should do forklift pull-ups together. “I’ve been bulking up recently, so I actually would love Cole to be on the other end of the forklift so it doesn’t tip over when I try to pull up on it,” he said. “I think it’d be fun to have a big wide shot of us face to face doing pull-ups on each end.”

“Yeah, just tapping noses at the top,” LaLonde replied. “Chin over the bar, Nose over the bar. Muscle up, Season 4.”
