Who is Maria Bartiromo’s husband?

Bartiromo married Jonathan Steinberg, the son of billionaire financier Saul Steinberg, on June 13, 1999, at the home of Steinberg’s parents in Quogue, New York. At the time, Bartiromo was becoming famous as a CNBC anchor. Over the course of their relationship, Bartiromo made a name for herself in financial journalism, while Steinberg followed in his father’s footsteps in finance.

“I always saw myself running a publicly traded financial services company,” he told The New York Times. “I am the product of my father — doing exactly what I expected to be doing.”

According to the outlet, Steinberg’s first business media enterprise imploded in 2001 at the same time his father’s insurance conglomerate did. Steinberg pulled a tiny stock indexing division from his old firm and turned it into asset management firm WisdomTree Investment, where he currently serves as CEO.

Per his WisdomTree bio, Steinberg was also the editor-in-chief of Individual Investor and Ticker magazines from 1998 to 2004. After leaving The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania during his junior year, Steinberg worked as a Bear Stearns analyst before buying and renaming a magazine, Individual Investor, and became its editor-in-chief. It went under in 2001 when the world began the pivot to digital media, per Forbes. He also published a book called Midas Investing in 1996.

Bartiromo has been by her husband’s side for nearly all of his career. “26 years ago today, I married the love of my life,” Steinberg wrote on X in 2025. “I couldn’t imagine this journey without her. Happy anniversary, @MariaBartiromo! Here’s to many more.”

Does Maria Bartiromo have kids?

Bartiromo and Steinberg don’t share any children. “I believe that right now, I’m happy. I have been happy,” Bartiromo told ADWEEK in 2012. “I hope I don’t have regrets for not having children at some point. I’ll be honest in telling you that. I have no idea at some point if I will. But at this moment in time, I feel good about the choices that I made.”
