Who is Cătălin Caucă?
Cătălin is a Romanian professional Latin dancer and international dance coach. He and Adele are dance partners who specialize in Latin American dance.
In addition to pursuing his professional career as a dancer, Cătălin is also an instructor at Vivat Dance Studio in California. He coaches young, aspiring dancers at the studio. He’s also taught internationally. Cătălin and Adele are also ambassadors for AIDA Dance Shoes.

Midway through the season of The Next Pro, fans began to speculate that Adele and Cătălin had split after she unpinned their photos together on her Instagram page (a June 5 post is still tagged where the duo is representing AIDA Dance Shoes) and untagged him in multiple recent posts. The duo also unfollowed each other’s accounts, and their joint account, @catalin.adele, unfollowed her as well.
On July 25, Cătălin officially posted that their “competitive partnership” had come to an end. While he wrote “wishing Adele all the best on her journey ahead,” this post did not address a romantic split as well.
How did Adele Zaikman and Cătălin Caucă meet?
Adele and Cătălin met in 2025 when she was looking for a new dance partner. She spent the first several months of the year advertising for a new partner on her Instagram, and by April, Cătălin was the answer to her prayers.

While it’s unclear exactly how the two connected, they danced together for the first time on April 26, 2025, then entered the Blackpool Dance Festival together just a few weeks later. “Two weeks ago, we saw each other for the first time,” Adele wrote on Instagram in May 2025. “Today, we’re dancing together at the legendary Legends Camp, preparing for our very first competition—Blackpool Dance Festival.”
By June, things seemed to have turned romantic between the duo. After sharing a kiss with Cătălin on the dance floor, Adele shared a photo of the romantic moment captioned, “Writing our story…”
In April 2026, she celebrated the one-year anniversary of their first dance, writing on Instagram, “A year ago today, we danced together for the first time, and somehow every dance started making sense. Not because of the steps, but because of you.”
