Kyle Kendrick

Kyle Kendrick is a former Major League Baseball pitcher best known for his time with the Philadelphia Phillies. Born on August 26, 1984, Kendrick made his MLB debut with the Phillies in 2007 and quickly became a mainstay in their pitching rotation. He played a key role during the team’s successful run in the late 2000s, including their 2008 World Series championship season, though he did not appear in the postseason that year.

Kendrick was known for his sinkerball style of pitching and had a reputation as a durable, innings-eating starter. He remained with the Phillies through 2014 and later had stints with the Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox.
