Amanda Lear

Amanda Lear is a French singer, songwriter, painter, television presenter, actress, and former model who became famous in the 1970s. She is known for her deep, distinctive voice, androgynous style, and enigmatic persona.

Lear first gained public attention as a muse and close companion of Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí in the 1960s. Her unique look and presence made her a sought-after fashion model during this era, working with photographers such as Brian Duffy and Helmut Newton.

Lear transitioned to music in the mid-1970s, becoming a major figure in the European disco scene. Her debut album, "I Am a Photograph" (1977), featured hits like "Blood and Honey" and "Queen of Chinatown."
