‘One Moment Please’: Your First Look at Lynsey & Josh in Passionflix Adaptation
What To Know
- Passionflix is adapting Amy Daws’ bestselling romance One Moment Please, the third book in her Wait With Me series.
- Lauren Lindsey Donzis and Dylan McTee star as Lynsey and Josh.
- Swooon is exclusively revealing the first look photos.
This is just what the doctor ordered! Swooon has your exclusive first look at Passionflix’s adaptation of One Moment Please, based on Amy Daws’ bestselling romance.
The photos give us a glimpse of Lynsey and Josh’s infamous meet-cute. It is like we shook the book and Lauren Lindsey Donzis and Dylan McTee fell out. They simply are Lynsey and Josh (aka Dr. Dick). McTee’s Josh is giving quite the smolder, while Donzis’ Lynsey is eating a slice of pie. (If you know, you know.)
One Moment Please is the third book in Daws’ Wait With Me series. This contemporary romance follows Josh and Lynsey, who have quite the whirlwind meet-cute. They first cross paths in the hospital cafeteria, only to see each other hours later at a bar. Their instant chemistry leads to a steamy hookup.
They go their separate ways the next morning, but three months later, a bad date lands Lynsey in the ER—and face-to-face with Josh, the doctor on duty.

And then, the twist. While getting treated, Lynsey learns that she’s pregnant, and Dr. Josh is the father.
Maddie McCormick, star of The Secret Life of Amy Bensen, is making her feature directorial debut with One Moment Please. The Black Dagger Brotherhood star Andrew Biernat will be back as Miles from Wait With Me, and so will Kelly Lamor Wilson‘s Kate.
“I had the best time working with Passionflix on my book, Wait With Me, so getting to do it all over again with One Moment Please is so exciting! Josh and Lynsey have such a fun grumpy/sunshine love story, and the unique way they discover they’re having a baby is something I can’t wait to see on the screen! Passionflix has been doing amazing romance adaptations for years and I am confident we’re going to make something really fun and special,” Daws previously said in a statement.
