During Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars, viewers have fallen in love with plenty of the guys from the season, from Glee alum Harry Shum Jr. and Jimmy Kimmel Live! star Guillermo Rodriguez to Paralympian Ezra Frech and Bachelor Nation alum Tyler Cameron. But when it comes to who viewers want to see hand out the roses next, it’s clear that comedian Connor Wood, who just received his first 10s, is at the top of the list.
This season, Wood, a.k.a. Fibula, is dancing with Rylee Arnold. While fans have been quick to comment on their chemistry both on and off the dance floor, Arnold is happily dating Walker Lyons, a BYU football player, so it’s clear that a showmance is not the cards.
On the other hand, Wood was most recently connected with someone in 2025, when he was seen getting cozy with Sally Carden from Earle Meets World. Since it’s been about a year since the online duo was spotted together, it’s safe to say Carden and Wood are not an item. Then again, when Jennifer Lawrence said “I saw you on 8th avenue drinking a smoothie and you paid me no mind,” she didn’t mention whether he was sipping alone.
After the Horror Movie Night episode, TikToker Torijjensen first shared the Connor Wood for The Bachelor theory with her followers, explaining, “Connor could be the Bachelor. And when I’m saying Connor could be the Bachelor, I’m saying it as a fact. I’m not saying it as, like, my preference or my opinion. I’m saying it as a fact.”
She continued, “He could very well be the Bachelor. He’s everything that they want. He’s everything that they need. He’s already on an ABC show.” She added, “He would save The Bachelor.”

While some commenters are still holding out hope that Wood and his podcasting co-host Brooke Averick will one day fall in love, many supported the theory. One commenter wrote, “I fear this would rival Joey’s season.” Another shared, “[If] Connor was the bachelor I would sign up so fast.”
Filming for The Bachelor Season 30 is reportedly supposed to start in January 2027, so Wood would have plenty of time to snag the Mirrorball before heading to the mansion.
