‘Felicity’: Did Felicity End Up With Noel or Ben in the Finale?
Felicity was recently added to Netflix, giving a whole new generation of viewers the chance to binge J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves‘ series, which originally aired from 1998 to 2002.
The love triangle between Felicity (Keri Russell), Ben (Scott Speedman), and Noel (Scott Foley), is the central storyline of the series, and there’s uncertainty about how Felicity’s love story will conclude until the very end.
The final season of Felicity was initially only supposed to have 17 episodes, ending with Felicity’s graduation from college. But when the show that was supposed to take over its time slot didn’t pan out, Abrams and Reeves were tasked with continuing the story. This led them to write a somewhat confusing five-episode arc, where Felicity traveled back to the beginning of her senior year of college.

Who did Felicity end up with?
Felicity ended up with her high school crush, Ben (considering the series began with her following him to New York for college, this was only fitting). However, it certainly wasn’t an easy road to get there.
In the college graduation episode, Felicity accepted Ben’s marriage proposal, even though he was about to welcome a baby with a one night stand named Lauren (Lisa Edelstein), who was planning to move to Arizona. Once his son was born, Ben couldn’t bear to be apart from him and revealed his intentions to move to Arizona.

This time, Felicity chose not to follow him and set off on her own path back home to California. By the end of the episode, Ben convinced Lauren to move to California, as well, and if she show ended there like it was supposed to, it seemed like he and Felicity would simply get their happily ever after.
However, in a time jump during the next episode, it’s revealed that Ben cheated on Felicity with a woman named Claire (Erinn Bartlett), which has her wondering if she should have picked Noel all along. This is where the time travel arc comes in, sending Felicity back to the beginning of her senior year of college, where she tries to make things work with Noel.
But when she shared her time traveling story in part one of the finale, it’s Ben who believed her, and Noel who thought she was crazy. In this timeline, Noel died in a fire, and Felicity blamed herself, so she worked to undo the spell that brought her back in time. She ended up waking up back in the original timeline and found out she had been ill with a 104-degree fever.
Ben apologized to Felicity for how he wronged her in the past, and they agreed that they didn’t want to be without each other, ultimately ending up together for real.
Who did Noel end up with in Felicity?
Noel ended the series with Zoe (Sarah Jane Morris). Noel and Zoe met during Season 4 when he started working at a graphic design firm run by her father. However, their relationship took a while to get off the ground due to her hesitancy to be physically intimate while dealing with depression.
Ahead of the originally-planned finale (Episode 17), Noel agreed that he and Zoe wouldn’t rush things, and their relationship was still very new. By the time jump in Episode 18, though, they were getting married, and Felicity agreed to attend the wedding. Once she saw Noel again, her regret about how things worked out about them kicked in (see above).
After waking up from her fever dream, and realizing that Ben was who she wanted to be with, Felicity promised Noel that he and Zoe will have a great life together. The finale included their wedding.
