‘Sister Wives’ Preview: Meri & Ron Share Update on Their Dating Status
Meri Brown is being intentional about her love life ever since she split from Kody Brown. In Swooon’s exclusive preview of the October 11 episode of Sister Wives, Meri and her close friend, Ron, sit down to have a candid chat about dating.
“What I love about mine and Ron’s relationship is that we have had conversations about what we need in a relationship, what we’re ready for in a relationship, whether or not he and I are the right person for each other,” Meri says in the sneak peek. “And so I really appreciate that we can have those conversations.”
During their lunch together, Meri asks Ron how dating’s going. “Sometimes I feel a little bit of pressure,” he admits. When he goes out with women, some of them are wanting to get “serious really fast.” For Ron, he doesn’t want to feel like he’s moving into something too fast. He wants to take his time in finding the right person to spend the rest of his life with.

“I agree with him in the moving slow. I don’t want to jump into something like really fast and then get my heart broken if it’s not, you know, going to work, right?” Meri says.
She knows a thing or two about moving at warp speed when it comes to her love life. “I jumped into my relationship with Kody really fast. I just think that moving slow can be wise,” she acknowledges.
Kody and Meri were legally married in 1990 after meeting when Meri was 18. They divorced in 2014 so Kody could marry Robyn Brown and adopt her children. However, Meri and Kody were still spiritually married until 2023. As of 2026, Kody now only has one wife, Robyn, following his splits from Meri, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown.
