A Refresher on Steven Frend’s ’90 Day Fiancé’ History Amid His ‘Hunt for Love’ Run
90 Day Fiancé Season 6 alum Steven Frend has returned to the franchise as a single man for Season 2 of 90 Day: Hunt for Love.
Viewers first got to know Steven when he was in a relationship with Olga Koshimbetova. Their connection brought him to Russia in 2018 when Olga revealed that she was pregnant with their son. When he arrived in Russia, Steven famously worried that Olga would love their baby more than him. Unfortunately, that fear proved to be true when the couple split in 2024.

Who is 90 Day Fiancé‘s Steven Frend?
Steven is a 28-year-old longtime 90 Day Fiancé franchise star who appeared with his now ex-wife, Olga, on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé. The couple met when they were just 20 years old, when she took a business trip to Maryland. After a few weeks together, Olga was pregnant. While Steven tried to file for a K-1 visa, he ended up traveling to Russia for the birth of their son and bringing both Alex and Olga to the States later on.
Their debut was followed by consistent relationship updates during seven episodes of the self-shot spinoff 90 Day Diaries and two episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: What Now, which stopped airing in 2020. Watch the video below for a throwback to their most memorable moment from their season.
Why did Steven and Olga break up?
In 2020, Steven revealed that he and Olga had called it quits after heavy speculation from fans. He shared in an Instagram Story, “People keep asking if Olga and I are [together] but the answer is, we went into this super blindly. There’s a lot the show left out that’ll have people confused but we have learned a lot about each other over this whole journey but we’re better at being coparents to our boy. We’re both civil and cause no drama because our son’s mental health is [top] priority. (P.S. Don’t assume you know the full story from this one little post).”
After their split, Steven and Olga got back together and welcomed their daughter, Leila, in 2022. By August 2024, they had split again for primarily the same reasons. Now, he’s looking for his second great 90 Day Fiancé love story.
How many children does Steven have?
Steven shares two children with his ex-wife, Olga. Their son, Alex, is eight years old, and their daughter just turned four. Steven celebrated their daughter Leila’s fourth birthday on September 22, 2026. On social media, he wrote, “Being your dad has changed me. You make me want to become the man I hope you will one day look for in the people you allow into your life. I want you to grow up knowing what love, respect, gentleness, and kindness look like… Not just because I tell you, but because you experienced them from me.”

Talking about his kids’ relationship, Steven added, “And your big brother Alex loves you more than you probably realize. Watching the two of you grow up together and seeing the way he looks out for you makes me so proud. You have the best big brother, and he is so lucky to have you as his little sister.”
He even addressed his coparenting relationship with Olga, sharing, “And I will always be grateful that your mother, Olga, is the one beside you teaching you what it means to be a woman. The love she has for you is intense and undeniable, and I know how much she pours into being your mother. You are deeply loved by both of us.”
