’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ Sneak Peek: Mr. Arc Returns as Niles Moves to Ghana
Ahead of his flight to Ghana on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Niles is keeping not one, but two major secrets from his wife, Matilda.
In Swooon‘s exclusive preview of the October 11 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 8, Niles calls his Ghanaian father figure and village elder, Mr. Arc, who tells him that he has to stay in his house instead of with Matilda’s family when he arrives. Since Matilda doesn’t know that Niles plans on staying in Ghana indefinitely, this makes two massive reveals that Niles has to share when he finally reunites with his wife.
Niles explains, “I told Matilda that I would have her in America within five to six months. I have not kept up my end of the bargain on that, and I am pretty sure her family is not happy about that one.”
Calling Mr. Arc for help “smooth[ing] things over” with Matilda and her family, Niles reveals that he will do whatever Mr. Arc says. When Niles admits, ” I honestly thought I would be with my wife and the family,” Mr. Arc drops the bombshell: “You have to come to me and stay with me.”

Niles gives in to Mr. Arc’s request, but not without one of his own. He asks, “I just feel like I have to ask Dad, can Matilda stay with me?” Luckily, since they’re married, Mr. Arc responds, “I don’t have any problem with that because it’s your wife.”
Still, Niles is quite apprehensive about dropping such big news when he sees Matilda for the first time since their wedding. He tells viewers, “That makes two bombs that I have to drop on Matilda when I get there. One, we’re staying with Mr. Arc. Two, I’m not leaving Ghana.”
