‘The Challenge’: All About Season 42 Star Chris Underwood’s Wife & Family
Chris Underwood made his debut on The Challenge flagship show for Season 42, and it’s been quite a run. Thanks to various alliances, Chris has been in a good position throughout the game, but as the only male player remaining on the combined blue and gray teams, his luck seemed to run out during the September 23 episode. Unfortunately, since it was a male elimination week, Chris automatically went in for his team, and he lost to Justin Hinsley. Following his Survivor Season 38 win and victory on The Challenge: USA Season 2, this loss was a rare occurrence for the dominating competitor.

Who is Chris Underwood’s wife?
Chris’ wife is Katelyn (Kate) Underwood (née Jermstad). Per her Instagram bio, she is a “creative entrepreneur” who often posts content about motherhood and art on social media. She used to have an Instagram dedicated to her art, which she posted under the name Kate Warner.
Most of Kate’s content is about being a millennial mother. She also posts from places in Charleston, South Carolina, where she and Chris live.

How did Chris Underwood meet his wife?
Chris and Kate met in 2015 at a college party. He attended Wofford College in South Carolina, while she went to the University of South Carolina. Four years after they met, they tied the knot in April 2019.
“I have spent almost all of my 20’s with this fun-spirited, adventurous, thoughtful, stunningly beautiful woman,” Chris once wrote of his wife.
How many kids does Chris Underwood have?
Chris and Kate are parents to two children. Their daughter, Margot, was born in October 2022, followed by son Pierce in September 2024.
