Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Beau’s (Khobe Clarke) dynamic duo-themed costume birthday party will go down in Off Campus history. It didn’t just give us Dean and Allie Hayes’ (Mika Abdalla) scorching “On the Floor” dance that quite literally set fire to the internet — it’s also an endless well of Halloween costumes. Delightfully meta ones, too. It’s a costume within a costume! Someone can recognize you as JLo or Allie as JLo.
We’re getting a little off topic here, but the Off Campus costume department really did their thing. Everyone’s costume is either totally hot, perfectly fitting for their character, a subtle nod to their future story arc, or all of the above. Logan (Antonio Cipriano) and Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) smartly gave us the birds and the bees (IYKYK). Sean (Riley Davis) and Allie going as real-life exes? No notes. And Hannah (Ella Bright) in that bunny costume? We only wish we could pull it off as well as her.
Some Off Campus characters slayed their costume choices and executions more than the others, so in honor of Halloween, we’ve ranked them. Spoiler: Garrett (Belmont Cameli) may be number one on the ice, but he didn’t come out on top in our list. Find out who we think had the best and worst costumes below.

10. Sean as Ben Affleck
The fact that Sean as Ben Affleck ranks below Justin (Josh Heuston) — more on that below — should tell you everything. The fact that this man had the audacity to forget his Dunkin’ cup with Allie looking like that? And he didn’t even want to go get it from the car? You have the most low effort costume imaginable and can’t put that little bit of effort in? Immediately bottom of the list.

9. Justin as Loser with No Costume
Justin only just edges out Sean because he doesn’t infuriate us quite as much. Justin thinks he’s too cool to wear a costume, which is almost as bad. Boo.

8. Jules as Peter Pan's Shadow
Jules’ (Julia Sarah Stone) Peter Pan’s shadow costume isn’t so bad, but the top half is giving graduation gown a bit. If the fan theory is true that Grace (India Fowler) is Jules’ Peter, then maybe we’d give them a few extra points, but overall it isn’t too memorable or clever compared to the rest.

7. Garrett as a Magician
Where’s the top hat? The wand? Just throwing a cape over an otherwise very basic outfit is a very Garrett thing to do, but let’s be real, Hannah’s look does all of the heavy lifting in this duo.

6. Tucker as 'The Bees'
It took a second for us to realize what this duo costume actually was, but once we did, the joke had us buzzing. Get it? Tucker went all out with the wings and everything, which we have to give him props for. Plus, the overall cuteness totally matches his sweet character.

5. Beau as Top Gun's Goose
Beau’s costume is a painful, but totally genius nod to the books on the costume designers’ part. Rub salt in the wound, why don’t you? He gives the Top Gun men a run for their money.

4. Hannah as Magician's Rabbit
Hannah may feel like a cliché in her costume, but Garrett wasn’t complaining, and neither are we. Hannah has more confidence — as she should — in the show compared to the book, which is something we’re all about. Honestly, the top four are all so well-done in our opinion that Hannah’s a winner in our eyes, too.

3. Dean as Top Gun's Maverick
Get this man in the Top Gun reboot, stat! Dean and Beau’s costumes are pretty much identical, but Dean gets extra points for styling choices. A.) That scene where he had the top half completely unzipped and doing body shots. B.) When he dances with Allie, the jumpsuit is unzipped down to his navel, almost. He knew what he was doing.

2. Logan as 'The Birds'
Logan went a tamer route with his get-up, but we’re obsessed with how clever it is. Crossing out the “S” on his Briar U Hawks shirt? Totally something Logan would do. Readers know how hilarious he is, and hopefully we’ll see more of that as Logan steps into a more prominent role. We’re also impressed because the wings look pretty intricate, and he could’ve easily half-assed them. Lastly, that hair. Technically it’s not part of the costume, but he gets infinite points for that. Still, he can’t beat our number one pick…

1. Allie as Jennifer Lopez
…One Allie Hayes. Do we even need to say why? She literally put our jaws on the floor. There is quite literally not a single flaw in her costume or styling choices, and somehow, everything remained in place while she was getting down on the dance floor, which is a total feat. Dare we say no one has looked better on TV in 2026 than Allie in her JLo dress? It’s bold, fearless, hot, and so perfectly Allie.
