What To Know

  • Gordon Ramsay attended the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, with his family.
  • He shared rare photos of his 7-year-old look-alike son, Oscar, at his first F1 race.
  • Ramsay and his wife, Tana, have six children.

Family fun day! After bringing his look-alike son to work earlier this year, Hell’s Kitchen host Gordon Ramsay took 7-year-old Oscar to his very first F1 race.

Alongside his family, the British celebrity chef attended the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, on October 25. Since they were in the Lone Star State, Gordon’s wife, Tana, and their daughter, Tilly, wore cowboy boots to match Oscar, who also donned a cowboy hat for the occasion.

“Suited and booted and ready for an incredible @f1 race !!” Gordon captioned photos of the four of them. “@oscarjramsay first ever Formula 1 at @cota_official !!” In one of the photos, Oscar mimicked his dad’s notorious mug for an adorable shot. Donning a cowboy hat and sunglasses, Oscar looked like the spitting image of his famous dad. Gordon also shared a fun behind-the-scenes video from the event, featuring special appearances from his family.

Though Oscar and his dad didn’t wear matching outfits this time, the two wore identical bomber jackets, white T-shirts, and blue jeans during an appearance on Next Level Chef earlier this year. They even had similar haircuts. “There’s a new judge on @nextlevelcheffox panel,” Gordon captioned a series of photos on Instagram.

Gordon and Tana, who married in 1996, have six children. Their eldest daughter, Megan, was born in 1998, followed by twins Holly and Jack the next year. Tilly — who has followed in her dad’s footsteps by hosting a cooking show called Dish It Out — came along in 2001. Almost two decades passed before Oscar was born in 2019, followed by their youngest child, Jesse, in 2023.

Though the 59-year-old chef doesn’t share photos of his younger sons too often —  Oscar’s big sisters run his Instagram account — Gordon has shared some details about his family. Of the gap in his children’s ages, he told People, “The second part of this family with the other two little ones, I think they’re in a great position because they’re getting educated a lot earlier from their bigger, older siblings, and they’re fascinated with their careers.”

Shortly after the birth of his youngest child, Gordon told the outlet how he’s approaching fatherhood differently. “I think I’m a better dad the second time round, if I’m honest,” he said. “Tana’s always been an amazing mom. But I think, if I had to self-critique, I know I’m better because I’ve got experience now. I think we’ve done a good job so far with the first four.”
