Ali is married to Dr. Vaughn Rasberry, an Associate Professor of African and African American Studies at Stanford University. He received his PhD in English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago. He attended Howard University for his undergrad.

How did Tatyana Ali meet her husband?
Ali met her husband online in 2014. She told ET, “Vaughn and I met on eHarmony! It was my first time dating online. We wrote letters for months before we decided to Skype. And then, of course, met.” Two years later, Rasberry proposed to Ali during a hike in March 2016. The same month, Ali announced that she was pregnant.
When did Tatyana Ali get married?
The couple got married in 2016, less than a year after they got engaged. The two tied the knot at a small daytime ceremony, which she revealed to People had an “upscale Caribbean vibe.” According to the outlet, the couple danced to house music, hip-hop, and afropunk at the wedding.
