‘DWTS’: Are Sharna Burgess & Brian Austin Green Still Together?
Sharna Burgess is back on Dancing With the Stars Season 35 for the first time in five years, and it may be taking a toll on her relationship with fiancé Brian Austin Green. In September, the actor came under fire for a video he posted about being “lonely” while Burgess was at daily rehearsals with partner Tyler Cameron.
“It’s honestly way more than I could’ve ever mentally prepared myself for,” he admitted. “She is my partner. She is my best friend. And she’s gone.”
Green faced backlash for complaining about Burgess’ schedule and professional partnership with Cameron. He also said, “I’m incredibly lonely. I am just going through a lot. [Sharna] is rehearsing seven days a week, 10 hours a day, doing all sorts of stuff. Then when she gets home, her mind is obviously still in what it is she’s doing. All the time she does have, she’s spending with Tyler.”
While Green praised Cameron for being respectful of his relationship with Burgess, he also admitted that past trust issues were starting to creep in. He included an apology to Burgess and Cameron, adding, “I couldn’t be more sorry for any distraction that I have caused.”

Yes, Burgess and Green are still together. He confirmed to Us Weekly on October 12 that he’s been cheering her on from home when he can’t be in the DWTS ballroom, and explained that his absence from the show is because they’ve “cracked down” on allowing young kids in the audience, so he can only attend when he has someone to watch his children.
Referencing his past comments about Burgess’ schedule, he admitted, “The Dancing With the Stars schedule is a pretty packed one. They have a lot of stuff that they do, so it’s not the time that I’m used to [having] with her. It’s just taking getting used to. It is going OK, it’s going to be really busy for the next month and a half if she makes it all the way to the end.”
He also said he’s happy to “hold down the fort” at home when Burgess joins the DWTS tour for two weeks next spring. “She loves dancing and she absolutely should experience the fan reaction because she’s loved and people love the fact that she’s back, so she should go do it,” Green confirmed. He also acknowledged that the roles will be reversed when his next project comes up: “We are learning the trade off of that.”

Green and Burgess started dating in 2020 amid Green’s separation from Megan Fox (their divorce was finalized in 2022). They got engaged in 2023, but have yet to walk down the aisle. In fact, when Burgess appeared on the Money Rehab podcast in 2025, she said the big day was still probably “two years away.”
“We’re so busy, at least in these next 12 months, and what I do know is I want to go big with it,” Burgess shared. “I want to be able to have all the money in the world to do all the things, fly my family [in] from Australia, and we’re not in that position right now to just blow all of that money on a wedding. So I’d rather wait for, like, a year or two for all these jobs we’ve got coming up and then be in a place where we can be like, ‘Let’s do the whole thing.'”
In a June 2026 Instagram post, Burgess revealed that she and Green had found their wedding location in Ireland.
