‘RHORI’s Alicia Carmody Gives Wedding Update After Billy’s Re-Proposal

Alicia Carmody was showered with love by fiancé Billy Kitsilis during The Real Housewives of Rhode Island finale, which was filmed at the end of last summer. Nearly a decade after he initially popped the question to Alicia while she was pregnant with their daughter, Billy re-proposed in romantic fashion on a cast trip.
Now, the two are in the throes of wedding planning, and Alicia gave Swooon an update on how things are going.
“I’m definitely up in the mix. No one tells you how hard this is,” Alicia, who partnered with Ziploc for their new Lunch Confessions campaign, said. “Maybe this is why I didn’t plan a wedding because I’m not organized. So I’m trying to figure out everything as we speak. It’s a mess. Honestly, it’s like a big puzzle. You take out a puzzle, and you put it on a table? That’s where I’m at right now. So at least the puzzle’s on the table; I just got to organize the pieces.”
She clarified that she and Billy don’t have a wedding date yet, but are “working on that this week.” Alicia also made sure to point out that Billy got her a new engagement ring, although he re-proposed with the original one on the show.
Of course, the couple’s daughter, Celina, will be part of the big day. “She’s been waiting for this,” Alicia admitted. However, the Bravo star isn’t sure what her involvement will be just yet.
“I don’t know what I want her to do,” she shared. “Maybe I’ll have her do a beautiful dance because she’s such a beautiful dancer. She’ll be a big part of it, obviously.” Alicia is also excited for Celina to understand what’s happening, adding, “I said, ‘Maybe that’s why I didn’t do it when you were younger. Now you can fully remember it and be present, and you get to witness this.’ It’s kind of a blessing in a way.”
And, yes, all of her RHORI costars are on the guest list. “I think they’ll all make it,” she confirmed. “Yeah, I have to [invite them]. They all have to come.”
Alicia hasn’t married Billy yet because she didn’t agree with the terms of the prenuptial agreement he had drawn up. It was an issue they worked through on Season 1 of RHORI.
