Ella Langley just broke the record for most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with her song “Choosin’ Texas,” and it looks like she has someone to celebrate with. On September 23, it was reported by TMZ that Langley has been dating Tucker Wetmore for “quite some time.”
The rumored couple was photographed leaving the Nashville Songwriter Awards at the Ryman Auditorium on September 22, but they’ve reportedly already been an item for a while.

Who is Tucker Wetmore?
Wetmore is a country music singer. He attended Montana Technological University but dropped out after his freshman year in 2019 when an injury ended his football career. Wetmore moved to Nashville in 2020 and began pursuing music.
After signing a record deal in 2023, Wetmore’s first song to chart was “Wine Into Whiskey,” followed by “Wind Up Missin’ You,” which has been his highest-charting song so far. He released his debut album, What Not To, in 2025.
In 2026, Wetmore won the New Male Artist of the Year award at the ACM Awards.

How is Tucker Wetmore connected to Farmer Wants a Wife?
In 2025, Wetmore found himself embroiled in drama involving some stars from Season 3 of Farmer Wants a Wife. Contestant Samantha Riehl went viral on TikTok for a video she posted with Wetmore after she ended her relationship with farmer John Sansone on the show.

While it’s unclear if there was ever actually anything going on with Wetmore and Riehl, they certainly had FWAW fans buzzing. There’s even deeper lore here, though, because Sansone once dated Langley!
Sansone and Langley were first linked in November 2025. He posted a photo of her dog on Instagram, and she shared a video with him in one of her photo dumps.
In April 2026, Sansone told Taste of Country that he and Langley “dated for a couple of months.” He revealed that the relationship began after he slid into her DMs, but noted they were no longer together.
