Joanne Collins, Tommy, and Luke Collins
Joanne (Judith Shekoni) and Luke (Zachary Levi) Collins are a married couple who suffer an unimaginable loss (the death of their son) at Odessa. As a result, they become vigilantes by hunting down and eliminating EVOs. However, Luke soon discovers he may be evolving into a superhuman himself....

Tommy (Robbie Kay) is a bullied teen dealing with the discovery of his emerging EVO power (the ability to make people disappear).

Matt Parkman
Matt (Greg Grunberg) was one of the first EVOs to discover his powers (telepathy) in Heroes. In this show's incarnation, Matt has shed his do-gooder LAPD detective ways; instead, he's a gun-for-hire struggling with the choices of killing EVOs for payment.

Dr. Mohinder Suresh
Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) was the genetics professor who researched EVOs in Heroes and later became one after injecting himself with a (flawed) formula. Now back in Reborn, Suresh may be the brains behind the Odessa events (or, at least, he's taking credit for them).

Noah "HRG" Bennet
The mysterious HRG is another original character who's back for a Heroes reunion. This time, HRB (Jack Coleman) is no longer working for Primatech and is living off the grid as a car salesman. However, HRG is affected by Odessa and must come out of hiding to resume his old life.

Hiro Nakamura
The fan-favorite Hiro (Masi Oka) is back as a more mature character now running his father's business. But he'll be seen wielding a katana sword again. Oka shared, "Hiro is still at the center of the battle, but the time has come for him to pass the torch."

Miko Otomo
Little is know about Miko Otomo (Kiki Sukezane), except that she's adept at wielding a katana sword (like Hiro). Show creator Tim Kring promises that the new heroine "will take us into a surprising and visually stunning world that’ll have the audience buzzing."

The popular NBC show Heroes, which was abruptly cancelled in 2010, has been reincarnated after five years as Heroes Reborn. This new version, which premieres on Thursday, September 24 for 13 episodes, also takes place five years after the events of the original show. Reborn centers around the chain of events set off by a devastating attack on a Primatech company in Odessa, Texas, which was holding a peace summit for humans and Evolved Humans (EVOs).

The Odessa tragedy affects different characters and intersects their stories, and has them facing off against each other and with another company just as (or perhaps more) evil than Primatech. Take a look at some of the returning faces and meet some new ones.
