Did Paul Revere really shout “The British are coming, the British are coming” as he rode furiously through the Massachusetts colony warning the rebels?  Was the original “Tea Party” in Boston Harbor a violent mob event? Fox News host and history buff Bill O’Reilly is back with a second season of myth-busting or supporting with the mix of re-creations and talking heads Legends & Lies.

This season, it’s Legends & Lies: Patriots, all about the American Revolution. Narrated by Dermot Mulroney, Season 2 premieres on Fox News Channel on Sunday, June 5 at 8/7c (See the trailer above). “I want people to see the icons of the Revolution as they really were, not as they’ve been mythologized,” says O’Reilly, whose series of Killing histories –from Killing Jesus to  Killing Reagan—are massive best-sellers. “Viewers want to know who these people really were.”

And to answer the questions above: Revere shouted, “The Regulars are coming,” and the only ones hurt in the dumping of the British tea in Boston Harbor, were possibly lovers of the beverage, who had to do without their favorite brew.
