Wow, Earth-2 folk don’t mess around.

The Flash is heading to Jay Garrick’s home world tonight to track down Zoom, but the big bad speed freak isn’t the only trouble waiting for Barry (Grant Gustin) and company in the alternate universe. Turns out, some of the sweetest folks from this side of the breach have doppelgängers over there who run dangerously hot and cold … literally.

In this exclusive clip, we get a taste of what to expect from the anti-Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) known as Killer Frost, a total ice queen who’s been wreaking all sorts of havoc with fiery beau Deathstorm, the still-living Earth-2 edition of our late Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm (Robbie Amell).  The pair—separated by death in our universe—have clearly done well for themselves by doing evil for Zoom given their pricey leather getups; despite their lethal actions, it’s awesome to see Panabaker and Amell sparking onscreen again.

Of course, we’ve seen Killer Frost before, albeit briefly, when Barry entered the time stream during the Season 1 finale. Now, she and the whole Earth-2 situation are finally getting some serious screen time in this two-part road trip. “To us, it feels very similar structurally to last season, where there’d been a lot of talk about time travel, but you hadn’t really experienced it until Episode 15, when Barry actually did it,” says executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. “And this is coming at around the same time [within the season] … we have talked a lot about Earth-2 and we’ve seen glimpses of it in flashbacks and whatnot, but to actually step through the looking glass and find yourself in Wonderland from the perspective of our team? There are scenes that are hilarious, there are scenes that are terrifying. It’s sort of everything at once.”

Including tragedy. According to Kreisberg, the two-parter features one of “my favorite scenes we’ve ever done, just because of the sheer ‘it’s gonna make you cry’ of it over there.”

We told ya they weren’t messing around!
