First Look: ‘The Simpsons’ “Treehouse of Horror XXVI” Poster (PHOTO)

Sideshow Bob will finally kill his pint-sized nemesis Bart on an upcoming episode of The Simpsons. But d’oh!-n’t fret. It’s part of The Simpsons’ annual “Treehouse of Horror” Halloween fright fest, which means it’s not really part of The Simpsons canon.

Nonetheless, for at least one episode, that means Sideshow Bob (Kelsey Grammer) finally pulls off the murder he’s been attempting to do for years. But in a twist, after killing Bart, Bob winds up reanimating him. Meanwhile, this year’s other “Treehouse” vignettes include Homer’s bout with short-term memory loss, and Lisa, Bart and Milhouse acquiring super powers from radiation.

The “Treehouse of Horror XXVI” episode of The Simpsons airs Sunday, Oct. 25 at 8/7c. Here’s a first look at the poster Fox has conjured up for this year’s spooky episode.
