It’s no laughing matter for the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) when the very Joker-ish Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) makes his long-awaited return to Gotham (on the March 8 episode).
“Jerome has taken over Arkham and now runs it as his own personal, twisted kingdom,” says executive producer John Stephens of the asylum where Oswald Cobblepot has been languishing since being framed for a child’s murder by Sophia Falcone (Crystal Reed).
“Jerome has plans for Gotham as well—plans that Penguin is integral to. And from Jerome’s point of view, Penguin will join him or die.”
