We're right in the middle of Droughtlander and fans are thirsty for some exciting news from their favorite show, Outlander. Well, we've got you covered... introducing Craig McGinlay!
The 31-year-old actor from Glasglow, Scotland, is currently filming the fourth season of the Starz series. He'll play Andrew MacNeil, a plantation owner near the Cape Fear River and prominent member of the Scottish community, according to The Scottish Sun.
MacNeil will be the one who brings Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) to the sawmill, where a lynching takes place.
The Droughtlander thirst is real.
McGinlay is no stranger to the screen. You might recognize him from King Arthur: Knights of the Round Table, in which he played Sir Percival alongside Charlie Hunnam. He also starred in the History Channel series Nightfall.
Last we left off in the time-traveling drama, Jamie and Claire had washed up on the shores of colonial America—Georgia, specifically—after surviving an intense storm at sea and shipwreck. Season 4 follows their new life on a new continent.
With the addition of McGinlay, it looks like Heughan now has some competition in the Outlander hunk department:
And like Heughan, he's also a Barbour ambassador/model:
Outlander season 4 is rumored to return late this year.
