USA Cancels ‘Playing House’ After 3 Seasons
Bad news, Jammers: Playing House has been canceled. Series stars Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham made the announcement Monday in a Twitter video.
“Jammers, we have really sad news; we’re not going to cry,” St. Clair began the minute-long video. “Guys, Playing House is not coming back for Season 4.”

Playing House wrapped up Season 3 in July.
“USA Network and Universal Cable Productions want to thank Jessica, Lennon and the entire cast and crew of Playing House for being amazing partners for three incredible, hilarious seasons. It was an honor and privilege to be part of this best friendship. Once a Jammer, always a Jammer,” read a joint statement from the network and the studio.
The comedy, which followed the escapades of two best friends (played by IRL besties St. Clair and Parham), returned to USA in June after a two-year hiatus. The show tackled all topics from the mundane to the serious, including St. Clair’s real-life cancer battle.
“I think what was so important, for me anyway, was to have a love letter to what these women—and my husband and my family—did for me,” St. Clair revealed at the ATX Television Festival in June. “Everyone raises you up and carries you through the storm. Our show is about best friendship, and I would not have survived without Lennon. I would not have survived without my best friends. I wanted to show how f—ing kickass women are for each other. There’s nothing like it.”
