Eva Marcille Joins 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 10

Eva Marcille has joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10.

Bravo confirmed Monday that the 32-year-old actress and television personality will appear in the show's upcoming season.

"Get to know the newest member of the #RHOA squad," the network tweeted of Marcille.

E! News reported Friday that Marcille will be featured as a friend of the housewives and not as a series regular. The actress shared her excitement in a statement to Us Weekly the same day.

The actress and former Miss USA announced she was a married woman late last week.


"I'm so excited to join NeNe [Leakes] and the ladies for the 10th season of RHOA," she said. "Atlanta and America, get ready!"

Marcille won America's Next Top Model Season 3 before pursuing an acting career. She played Tyra Hamilton on The Young and the Restless, and has appeared in such films as Crossover and Sister Code.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 will star Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams and Sherée Whitfield, with appearances from Kim Zolciak. Leakes shared photos with her co-stars last week after the show released a first trailer.

"Oh yeah we coming for yo [expletive] Nov 5th only on @bravotv @cynthiabailey10 @thekenyamoore @shereewhitfield #RHOA #peachy #bravo #ATL," she captioned one picture.
