'Star Trek Discovery': First 4 Episode Titles Hint at Series Future
CBS has announced the first four episode titles for Star Trek: Discovery, giving fans a taste of what to expect when the series premieres on Sept. 24.
The episode titles were unveiled Monday on Twitter in a video featuring a space backdrop and dramatic music.
The premiere episode is titled "The Vulcan Hello" which could mean that Discovery will be jumping right into the backstory of Sonequa Martin-Green's character, first officer Michael Burnham who is a human that was raised on Vulcan.
CBS All Access will air the full series, finally debuting after several months of delays
Episode two meanwhile named Battle at the Binary Stars, could be referring to how Discovery takes place at a time of war against the Klingons. Episode three is titled Context is for Kings while episode four is labeled The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry.
Also on Monday, star Michelle Yeoh who portrays Captain Philippa Georgiou on the sci-fi drama, discussed with CBS how her character is warm and optimistic.

"She is one who still has hope for humanity," Yeoh said. "She believes very, very strongly there is goodness out there and we will always work from that point of view." When asked about how the captain leads her crew, the actress responded, "She's the father and mother of them. She trusts them implicitly because she will tell them what to do and navigate them into safety."
Star Trek: Discovery will debut first on CBS before over to the network's video on-demand and live-streaming service, CBS All Access.
