'Weird Science' Star Ilan Mitchell-Smith Books Spot on 'The Goldbergs'
Weird Science alum Ilan Mitchell-Smith will guest star on the Sept. 27 episode of the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs.
The show will pay tribute to Mitchell-Smith's 1985 sci-fi comedy, which co-starred Anthony Michael Hall, Robert Downey, Jr., Bill Paxton and Kelly Le Brock.
"Beverly and Murray move Erica into college where her roommate is also named Erica. Later, Beverly has a hard time letting go and ends up sleeping over in the dorm, much to Erica's dismay. Meanwhile, Adam tries to give Barry the perfect girlfriend, even trying to build one like in the movie Weird Science, as he embarks into his senior year," a synopsis said.
