Orphan Black, “Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis” (Saturday, April 25, 9/8c, BBC America)

For the past three seasons, BBC America’s Orphan Black has showcased the extraordinary acting abilities of Tatiana Maslany, embodying a variety of clones that include Brit punk Sarah Manning, uptight soccer mom Alison Hendrix, and quirky scientist Cosima Niehaus. But at the end of last season, the show introduced a new twist and a new batch of clones, this time male (played by Ari Millen) and genetically developed under the name Project Castor. This week, brother clones Rudy and Seth begin to wreak havoc and capture the attention of Det. Art Bell (Kevin Hanchard) and Sarah, who believes the Castor clones have information on the whereabouts of her missing clone sister, Helena. Meanwhile, Allison continues to ponder running for a position on the local school board and, with her husband Donnie’s (Kristian Bruun) support, concocts a legally ambiguous plan that has the do-gooder doing very bad things.
