Laurie Metcalf says "everything is in place" for a Roseanne revival, but she doesn't know when or where it might air.

Recent media reports have said the beloved sitcom's creator and star Roseanne Barr is gearing up with her fellow, former cast members John Goodman, Sara Gilbert and others for an eight-episode, follow-up to Roseanne, which originally ran 1988 to 1997.

'Roseanne'—the bawdy, beloved '80s and '90s sitcom that centered on the blue-collar Conner family—is getting a reboot from the series' original executive producers Tom Werner, Roseanne Barr and Bruce Helford.

"I am hoping that it happens. Everything is in place, except for the fact that it has not been sold," Metcalf said of the possible sequel series at a Tony Award nominees press conference in New York Wednesday.

Metcalf was nominated for Best Lead Actress for her work in A Doll's House, Part 2. Her co-stars Chris Cooper, Jayne Houdyshell and Condola Rashad also earned individual Tony nods for their performances in the new Broadway play.

"It's so great that all four of us are here. It wouldn't be the same without one of us or missing somebody. It's wonderful that's it's the group. We had a very fun show last night," she revealed, referring to the first performance of A Doll's House, Part 2 after the Tony nominations were read.

Tony Award winners will be announced at a ceremony on June 11. Kevin Spacey is hosting the gala honoring excellence on Broadway. It will air on CBS.
