‘The Masked Singer’ Season 7 Premiere Sneak Peek: Is Cyclops a ‘Cobra Kai’ Star? (VIDEO)

Is a Karate Kid villain now part of the “Bad” group on The Masked Singer?

The Fox hit series has separated its competitors into three groups for the seventh season — the “Good,” “The Bad,” and “The Cuddly” — and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek featuring one of the members of “The Bad” from the March 9 premiere. Following Cyclops’ performance and clue package, host Nick Cannon checks with the panel — Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Nicole Scherzinger — to see if they’ve picked up on anything to help them identify who’s under the mask.

As McCarthy shares, there’s “a villain that stuck out in my head, and that’s William Zabka, Karate Kid… he played a bad guy, and then I saw the compass, and in Cobra Kai, he’s kind of lost emotionally.” Watch the clip above to see Cannon’s reaction to her guess.

In Round 1 of the season, characters from each group will be competing in hopes of continuing on and making it to the finale. Five celebrities will perform in the premiere.

In the premiere, five celebrities — coming from each of the three groups — will be duking it out to continue on in the competition. The Season 7 contestants boast a combined 112 film appearances, 15 Grammy Nominations, eight Emmy Nominations, seven Super Bowl Performances, two Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars, and two World Records.

Performing as part of “The Good” group are Ringmaster, Armadillo, McTerrier, Firefly, and Frog Prince. Joining Cyclops in “The Bad” group are Hydra, Ram, Jack in the Box, and Queen Cobra. And Baby Mammoth, Thingamabob, Lemur, Space Bunny, and Miss Teddy will be competing as “The Cuddly.”
