After the success of Netflix’s Daredevil last year, the second live-action series from the Marvel comic books, Jessica Jones, is set to premiere on Friday, November 20.
Jessica Jones revolves around Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter, pictured here), a former superhero whose career came to a brief and tragic end. Now, she’s heading up her own detective agency and taking on cases in New York City.

Trish “Patsy” Walker (Rachael Taylor)
Role: Jessica’s best friend and a former model who’s now a radio host.
Kilgrave (David Tennant)
Role: A physican who became a spy, Kilgrave is the baddie of this series. He’s a man from Jessica’s past life who throws her new life for a loop.
Harper (Carrie-Anne Moss)
Role: Little is known about her character, other than that she’s a powerful, authoritative figure who becomes Jessica’s ally.
Luke Cage (Mike Colter)
Role: A mysterious man with superhuman strength and unbreakable skin who's considered a neighborhood hero. He changes the course of Jessica's life in the series. (Plus: the third Netflix series from Marvel will be Marvel's Luke Cage.)
