Reagan's first cover came back on November 22, 1958, when she was still known as an actress (formerly Nancy Davis) and the wife of Ronald Reagan, then the host of CBS' General Electric Theater.

Almost three decades later, Reagan returned to the cover of TV Guide Magazine—but this time as the First Lady of the United States. She graced this 1983 cover along with the late Gary Coleman, having guest starred on the infamous "Just Say No" episode of Diff'rent Strokes.

This, issue showed Reagan in her one solo cover, and featured the news story "Judging the Influence of America's First Ladies."
