Cute Overload

The Broncos may be playing the Panthers this Sunday in Super Bowl 50, but two other annual big games will be happening between kittens and puppies.

First, on the annual Kitten Bowl, over 40 players from the Feline Football League will be facing off on the field. Animal advocate Beth Stern (wife of radio host Howard) returns as host, along with former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason as FFL commissioner. And for the first time this year, dogs will appear during the half-time show. A few hours after the "Su-purr Bowl," it's time for the Puppy Bowl, where over 80 players for #TeamRuff vs. #TeamFluff play against each other. This year's games will showcase the usual Kitty Half-Time Show, along with the first-ever Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame.

To get a taste of the cuteness coming your way, see all the adorable pet moments in these photos.

Wide Receiver

No feline fumble here. We're sure this kitty's thinking: "If I make this catch, is it (cat)naptime?"

It’s the most fur-ocious moment in the game: the purple Boomer’s Bobcats versus the the blue North Shore Bengals!

Going for the Glory?

One cat has the chance to score while the other...just looks bored.

Boss Baller

This kitten is dominating the game by showing the ball who's boss.

They may be on the same team, but looks like there's some side-eyeing going on for the football.

Triple Threat

It’s a tug of war between three territorial canines. But we might just root for all three.

Chew on This

Could this fuzzy football be cuter than this pup? (We think probably not.)

Time Out

Looks like someone is trying to charm the crowd (and it’s working).

Ruff Time Out

Is this pup getting reprimanded by the ref? The punishment would probably be more playtime!

Kitty Half-Time Show

This year's Puppy Bowl half-time show will see kittens taking over San Francisco...sitting on a miniaturized Golden Gate Bridge and finding their way to "Al-Cat-raz."
