In honor of Veterans Day this year, History is planning a marathon event to unveil its new unscripted series, The Warfighters. Hosted by executive producer Peter Berg (who directed Lone Survivor) and veteran Special Forces Green Beret Ben Kuntz—a featured subject in Berg’s other upcoming series The Selection: Special Operations Experiment—the evening will feature four episodes of Warfighters that examine the lives and challenges facing Army Rangers, Green Berets, Marines, and Navy SEALs who have undertaken the war on global terror, as told by the service members themselves.

“We can never do enough to pay tribute to our vets and military servicemen. I’m incredibly happy that History continues honoring these great men and women,” says Berg. “This series is special to me because we get to make it with veterans.” Subsequent episodes of the series are currently slated to premiere in 2017.

The Warfighters marathon kicks off on Friday, Nov. 11, 8/7c on History.
