Odd Mom Out (10/9c, Bravo): In the season finale of Jill Kargman’s very funny send-up of Bravo-style housewifery—which despite its kookiness feels more real than any of the actual Real Housewives shows—Jill realizes to her horror that sister-in-law Brooke’s (Abby Elliott) idol, lifestyle guru Joy Green (Molly Ringwald in great form), is the nasty litterbug shrew she tangled with during last week’s traffic jam to Southampton. Joy has agreed to officiate at Brooke’s wedding-vow renewal with uber-douche Lex (Sean Kleier), but what are the odds Jill will let this happen without speaking up?

The Fosters (8/7c, Freeform): The family drama’s midseason summer finale looks to be a cliffhanger involving Callie (Maia Mitchell), whose efforts to reopen the murder case of her former foster brother Kyle put her in danger. And Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) goes missing from a music festival while on her twin brother’s ADHD meds.

Janet King (episodes premiere Mondays on Acorn TV): Streaming alert: This first-rate Australian legal drama, starring Marta Dusseldorp (Jack Irish) as a crown prosecutor, returns with a very timely second season, in which Janet leads a Royal Commission to investigate a surge in gun-related violence and crime.

Inside Monday TV: E!’s Fashion Police (8/7c) returns to deconstruct the winners and losers from Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. Co-hosts Melissa Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski are joined by NeNe Leakes and Margaret Cho. … Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance marks its 250th episode (8/7c), but I’m afraid this “Next Generation” cycle has lost me. If it beats the odds and is renewed for next summer, let’s hope Dance reverts to its original format. … A new season of Discovery’s hot rod-restoring Fast N Loud (9/8) begins with Gas Monkey buds Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman kicking back at the beach to answer fan questions and reflecting on their best and worst builds. … Shaquille O’Neal is Running Wild With Bear Grylls (10/9c, NBC) in the Adirondacks, joining the host on a wilderness adventure involving 200 ft. sheer rock obstacles and (yuck) leeches.
