James Corden Surprises Chewbacca Mom With Kudos from J.J. Abrams and Peter Mayhew (VIDEOS)
Who doesn’t like Chewbacca Mom?
Candace Payne darn near broke the internet this past weekend when she posted a Facebook video of her donning a talking Chewbacca mask and laughing her butt off at the unbridled joy of buying such a silly toy for herself and not her kids. The Facebook Live video has been viewed over 141 million times to date.

She’s had a whirlwind week so far, first appearing on GMA, then being invited onto the Late Late Show couch by James Corden. But, of course, Corden can’t just talk to such a fun guest. First he pretended Payne was driving him to work, when a guest showed up in the back seat of the car: Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams, who helped give Payne notes on her Chewie roar:
Then, back inside the studio, Corden read Payne an e-mail from Peter Mayhew, who’s played Chewie in every Star Wars movie the Wookie has been in. And Mayhew extended an invitation that every Star Wars fan would give their left arms for.
