Can the future be altered? Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will tackle that question when Daisy (Chloe Bennet) gets a glimpse of what’s to come and attempts to circumvent tragedy.

Daisy is determined to stop what she sees in the potential future—including a team member in danger—due in part to the role she feels she plays in what goes down. “But as any time-traveling series or movie can show you, even if you see the future, who knows whether or not it can be changed?” Bennet says. “It may not all be what she thought it was.”

Though not everyone on the squad believes that the circumstances can be adjusted – Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) are particularly skeptical – the task allows Daisy to showcase her leadership skills. “She feels very adamant she can come through for the team,” Bennet says. However, she warns, “It doesn’t go as planned.”
