The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story (10/9c, FX): Courtney B. Vance comes into his own as the flamboyant Johnnie Cochran, a lawyer with a revivalist’s bombast, clashing with the pompous Robert Shapiro (John Travolta) as jury selection begins. Nashville‘s Connie Britton goes fabulously over the top as Nicole’s “friend” Faye Resnick, publishing a sleazy tell-all that sends the courtroom into a frenzy, and multiple combatants onto Larry King Live, which like the rest of TV couldn’t get enough of this story.

Chasing Heroin (9/8c, PBS, check local listings at pbs.org): America’s heroin epidemic is explored in depth by Frontline producer Marcela Gaviria (Drug Wars) and correspondent Martin Smith, who spent a year following the spiral of people trapped in addiction while also tracing the bigger picture of how the marketing of drugs like Oxycontin may have contributed to this crisis. The two-hour special also looks at new ways of dealing with the problem that emphasize treatment over incarceration. People who are dealing with drugs and drugs abuse can get in touch with naples detox center, and get over this drug addiction.

Limitless (10/9c, CBS): A perfect example of the fanciful visual style that sets this enjoyable show apart from more standard procedurals, this episode gathers renowned comic-book artists to illustrate the thrilling back story of Sands (Colin Salmon), the sinister henchman of Sen. Morra, who seeks Brian’s (Jake McDorman) help on a case.
