Colony will return for a second season, USA Network announced.

“[Executive producers] Carlton [Cuse] and Ryan [Condal] have successfully delivered a story that tests the strengths and weaknesses of a society in duress, and the bonds of a family divided,” said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network, in a statement. “Colony’s performance across all platforms has been impressive, and we can’t wait to see where the story takes us.”

Per USA Network, over the show's first three episodes, Colony "has seen an average combined L3 audience of 3.4MM P2+ (two same-night telecasts of each original episode)."

The series—starring Lost's Josh Holloway and The Walking Dead's Sarah Wayne Callies—follows civilization post-invasion, as humanity struggles with whether to go along with their new way of life, or rebel.
