Lost alum Harold Perrineau finds his way onto Wednesday's episode of The Mysteries of Laura, titled "The Mystery of the Morning Jog," as an overly-enthusiastic (and very, very angry) father of a former Olympic gymnast.

Charles Baptise quickly becomes one of the main suspects in this week's case, which centers on the death of the city's leading sports surgeon, who was hit by a bus. But Laura (Debra Messing) and Jake (Josh Lucas) believe foul play was involved. Could Baptise be guilty of pushing the doc, who could have ruined his son's chances at gold? The story he tells is convincing, but that doesn't mean it's true.

In addition to Baptise, Laura must also deal with another suspect, Kurt Berhenson, a men's rights activist played by guest star Greg Grunberg (who played the Oceanic Flight 815 pilot on Lost).

Other things happening in the episode? Billy (Laz Alonzo) and Meredith (Janina Gavankar) finally turn their romance up another notch.

The Mysteries of Laura airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
